Add a Season

Learn how to add a season to a series, so you can organize its events and contestants.

What is a season?

A Season in ONE RACEHUB represents a specific period within a series. Typically, this corresponds to a calendar year or a specific championship season. Each series can contain multiple seasons, allowing you to organize your racing activities chronologically.

Why seasons matter

A series stays the same from year to year. You add a new season for each year instead of creating a new series.

Each season holds:

  • Its own contestants
  • Its own events
  • The sessions and run data for those events

Before you begin

  • Make sure the series already exists. See the Series article for details.

Add a season

  1. Go to Configuration → Admin → Events
  2. Select the series name
  3. Select Add Season
  4. Enter a Name in the dialogue, for example "2026"
  5. Optional: add contestants now. When setting up a season, you can add the competitors that will participate.

Under Contestants for this Season, enter a Start Number and an optional Class if your series has multiple classess. Select Add Contestant to Season. Repeat for each car. You can also add contestants later.

  1. Select Save

The new season appears under the series.

⚠  A new season starts empty. Cars, events, and run data from the previous season are not copied across.

💡Use a name that makes sense to your team. If you name seasons by year, use the same format for every season, such as "2026", "2027", and so on.

    Common naming approaches include:

    • Sequential numbers: "Season 10", "Season 11", etc.
    • Descriptive names: "Spring Testing", "Summer Development", etc.

    Managing Existing Seasons

From the season overview, you can:

    • Click on a season name to see its events

    • Edit a season by clicking the pencil icon (to modify the name and contestants)
