Add Events

An Event in ONE RACEHUB is a specific race weekend, test day, or other occasion at a particular venue. Events contain all the sessions that occur during that time period, such as practice sessions, qualifying, and races.
Events sit inside a season. Each event belongs to one season, and each season belongs to one series.

To add a single event:

The new event appears in the event list for the season.

ⓘ Events in ONE RACEHUB can overlap. This lets you track several championships at the same time.

Many championships repeat the same pattern of sessions at each event. A full event lets you create the event and all its sessions in one dialog.

To add a full event:

Go to the season and select Add Full Event
Fill in the event fields (event number, track, layout, start, end, and event type)
Add each session:
- Short name, for example FP1 or Q1
- Session type, for example Free Practice, Qualifying, or Race
- Start and End times for the session
Select Save

If the next event follows the same pattern, you can save time with a JSON file.

Open an event that has the sessions you want to reuse.
Select the action menu, then Download JSON.
For the next event, select Add Full Event, then Upload from file, and choose the JSON file.
Adjust the event dates and session times to match the new event.

The names, types, and other settings are kept from the file.

Contestants are added to the season first. On each event, you select which contestants take part. For more detail, see the Contestants article.
