Tyre Management in ONE RACEHUB

System to efficiently track, organize, and optimize your racing tyres for performance and strategic decision-making.

Introduction

ONE RACEHUB provides comprehensive tools for managing your racing tyres throughout their lifecycle. The tyre management system allows you to:

  • Track individual tyres and tyre sets
  • Monitor tyre usage and mileage
  • Record pressure and temperature data
  • Calculate optimal starting pressures
  • Manage your entire tyre inventory

This integrated approach ensures you have complete visibility of your tyre pool and can make data-driven decisions about tyre strategy.

Key Components

The tyre management system in ONE RACEHUB consists of two main sections:

  1. Tyre Sheet: For managing your tyre inventory and organizing tyres into sets
  2. Pressure Calculations: For calculating and optimizing tyre pressures

Additionally, tyre data is recorded in the Runsheet during each session.

Tyre Sheet

The Tyre Sheet is where you manage your entire tyre inventory. It's divided into several tabs:

  • Event Tyre Barcodes: Record barcodes for tyres, rims, and TPMS
  • Event Tyre Sets: Create and manage tyre sets for the current event
  • Event Tyres: View and manage tyres available for the current event
  • Season Tyre Sets: Create and manage tyre sets for the entire season
  • Tyre Pool: Manage your complete inventory of tyres across all events

This structure allows you to organize tyres at different levels - from your complete inventory down to specific sets for a particular event.

Pressure Calculations

The Pressure Calculation tool helps you determine the optimal starting pressures to achieve your target pressures during a run. The system:

  • Tracks reference pressures at standard temperature
  • Calculates adjustments based on track and ambient conditions
  • Considers run length (short vs. long runs)
  • Learns from previous runs to improve future predictions

This data-driven approach helps eliminate guesswork from your tyre pressure strategy.

Tyre Data in Runsheets

For each run, you can record comprehensive tyre data in the Runsheet:

  • Which tyre set was used
  • Start and end pressures and temperatures
  • Target pressures
  • Surface temperatures
  • Tread depth measurements
  • Post-bleed and set-down values

This data is essential for both real-time decision-making and post-session analysis.

Common Tyre Workflows

Workflow 1: Managing Team-Owned Tyres

For tyres that your team owns and uses across multiple events:

  1. Add tyres to your Tyre Pool
  2. Mark which events they'll be available for
  3. Organize them into sets as needed
  4. Track their usage across all events

Workflow 2: Managing Event-Specific Tyres

For tyres provided at a specific event (e.g., by a tyre supplier):

  1. Add them as Event Tyres
  2. Organize them into sets
  3. Track their usage during the event
