Preferences, Highlight Team and Manufacturer, Default Loop Names and Driver Alias
Users have the flexibility to customize their ONE TIMING experience by selecting which Team or Manufacturer they prefer to highlight. They can also choose between viewing Default or Custom Loop Names, as well as Default Driver Names or Custom Aliases.
General ONE TIMING Options
Inside the "Preferences" Menu which can be found under "File" there is the category "General". In here it multiple options of ONE TIMING are defined.
Team and Manufacturer to highlight
In here you can define which Manufacturer and Team should be highlighted in certain Plugins. These Names need to match with the team and manufacturer names that are used to define each entry.
While they can be adjusted here via text. It is recommended that you go into the "Series"-Menu of the Preferences and go to the series and season that you are interested in. You can then right-click on your team and set the team and manufacturer here.
The way in which the team or manufacturer is highlighted will vary depending on the specific Plugin being used. For instance, in the "Time Analysis" Plugin, all cars belonging to the particular manufacturer will be highlighted.
Show Default Loop Names
Loops is the name inside ONE TIMING for mini-sectors. So additional granularity of the sector times. Not all timekeepers and Series provide these loop times. If they are provided by the official timing feed, then ONE TIMING can show the default names that the timekeeper gives these loops. This would mean the Option "Show Default Loop Names" would be ticket on. By default this option is turned off. Which means that the Loop Names can be customized in the Event Settings of ONE TIMING.

Use Driver Alias
Users that ordered the Advanced Package have the option to assign Aliases to each driver within the "Cars Settings" plugin. These aliases can improve readability and provide additional information. Users of ONE TIMING can choose in the "Preferences" whether to use these assigned aliases or stick to the normal names from the Timing Feed. The default setting for this option is off.
