The Car Dashboard plugin provides a comprehensive overview of driving time, rest time, stints, and track limit usage for all drivers in multi-driver events. It is essential for monitoring driver participation, compliance, and stint management in endurance racing.
Overview
The Car Dashboard plugin is designed for multi-driver events, offering race officials, team managers, and participants detailed insights into driver activity throughout a session. It automatically tracks all declared drivers for each car and provides real-time updates, helping ensure compliance with driver time regulations and monitoring overall driver performance.

Overview Tab
The Overview tab provides a summary of all driver activity for the selected car.
How to select a car:
Right-click anywhere in the plugin area and choose from the dropdown menu of available cars.
Displayed Information (per driver):
- Number of Stints: Total completed driving periods
- Number of Laps: Total laps completed
- Total Drive Time: Cumulative driving time for the session
- Continuous Drive Time: Current uninterrupted driving period
- Continuous Rest Time: Current uninterrupted rest period
- Driving Time (Last 6 Hours): Total driving time within the most recent 6-hour period
- Percentage Share: Driver's portion of total team driving time
- Track Limits: Number of track limit violations recorded
Tip: You can sort any column by clicking on the column header. Click once to sort from high to low, and click again to reverse the sort order.
Stints Tab
The Stints tab provides detailed information about each individual driving stint, both completed and in progress.
Displayed Information (per stint):
- Start Time: When the driver crossed the pit exit line
- End Time: When the driver crossed the pit entry line
- Lap Count: Total laps completed during the stint
- Lap Range: First and last lap numbers of the stint
- Driver: Name of the driver for this stint
- Best Lap Time: Fastest lap achieved during the stint
- Average Lap Time: Mean lap time for all laps in the stint
- Driving Duration: Total time spent driving during the stint
- Pit Stop Duration: Time spent in the pit area
- Track Limit Warnings: Number of track limit violations during this stint
Using the Data
The Car Dashboard plugin is essential for monitoring compliance with racing regulations, especially in endurance events where driver time limits and rest periods are strictly enforced.
Note:
Start and end times are precisely measured from pit line crossings, ensuring accurate stint duration calculations for regulatory compliance.
Data Export
All displayed data can be exported using the Copy all data to clipboard function. This feature copies the current state of whichever tab is displayed, allowing you to paste the information into spreadsheets or other applications for further analysis.
Tip:The exported data reflects exactly what is currently visible in the plugin, including any applied sorting or filtering.
