How can I request coverage for a standalone event or a new series in ONE TIMING?

Question

I plan to participate in an upcoming Test or Race Series that I have not previously informed PACETEQ about. I am interested in using ONE TIMING. What steps should I take to ensure that I can utilize ONE TIMING?

Answer

To ensure that the event is properly prepared and supported, it is essential to notify PACETEQ at least 2 weeks before the first session. You can write an email to support@paceteq.com.

If you are already aware of the timekeeper, please share that information with PACETEQ. If you are unsure about the timekeeper, PACETEQ is here to assist you throughout the process. The ONE TIMING live-feed can only be accessed once you have confirmed that you have ordered the timing feed from the responsible timekeeper.

Simply providing a link to the live timing website of the event does not serve as valid confirmation that you have ordered the Timing Feed from the timekeeper.
The Timing-Data-Stream that needs to be ordered from the timekeeper is not the same as the official timing website.

Most timekeepers typically offer a Cloud Connection, allowing PACETEQ to handle all necessary steps. This means you only need to select the ONE TIMING live-feed when the session begins.
If only a local connection is available, PACETEQ will guide you through each step to utilize ONE TIMING. It is optimal for the team to provide a Laptop with Teamviewer, enabling a PACETEQ support engineer to remotely complete all required tasks.
