License check failed

ONE TIMING does not open anymore and you get the message "License check failed".

Issue

If your Harware ID changes after changing a hardware component of your PC or Laptop, ONE TIMING may not be able to validate your License anymore. You will then see the message:

"License check failed. Please contact PACETEQ technical support"

Fix

You can remove your License Key from your Machine, which enables you to activate your ONE TIMING License Code again. Follow these steps:

  1. Close ONE TIMING
  2. Remove the License key from your machine
    "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\LicenseSpring\onetiming\License.key"
  3. Reopen ONE TIMING and activate your license key as normal

To access your AppData folder:

  1. Enter %localappdata% in your Windows search bar and press Enter.
  2. This will open the Windows File Explorer.
  3. Find and open the LicenseSpring folder, then onetiming.
  4. Delete the file named License.key.
