License check failed
Resolve the "License check failed" error in ONE TIMING after a hardware change by removing and reactivating your license key.
Overview
If ONE TIMING does not open and displays the message "License check failed," this usually indicates that your Hardware ID has changed—often due to a hardware component upgrade or replacement on your PC or laptop. As a result, ONE TIMING cannot validate your license and requires reactivation.
Issue
When your Hardware ID changes (for example, after replacing a hard drive, motherboard, or other key component), ONE TIMING may not be able to validate your license. You will see the following message:
"License check failed. Please contact PACETEQ technical support"
Fix: Remove and Reactivate Your License Key
To resolve this issue, you need to remove the existing license key file from your machine and reactivate your license.
Step-by-Step Instructions

Close ONE TIMING if it is open.

Remove the License Key File:
- Open the Windows search bar.
- Enter %localappdata% and press Enter to open the AppData folder in File Explorer.
- Navigate to:
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\LicenseSpring\onetiming - Delete the file named License.key.

Reopen ONE TIMING.

Activate your license key as normal when prompted.
