Include multiple compounds and define up to 3 tire stages for each one. You can publish and make adjustments in real-time during a session

Tyre life Stage

ONE TIMING offers the flexibility to define multiple tire compounds for use in the race. Each compound is comprised of both an abbreviation and a full name, with the order of the two being interchangeable.

Each Compound can have a maximum of 3 stages to track the tire's lifespan. The initial stage is determined by the starting time difference between tire types and the gradual decrease in performance per lap. For instance, in Formula 1, the hard tire may start off half a second slower than the soft tire, with a gradual decline in performance per lap. The second and third stages are then characterized by the lap at which these changes take effect, along with the rate of performance decline. The second stage represents the plateau phase of the tire, typically showing a slightly higher drop-off compared to the first stage. Finally, the third stage marks the cliff of the tire, occurring later in the tire's lifespan with a significant performance drop.

Each Compound can also be assigned a specific color, which can be applied by ONE TIMING.

Publish Settings

Just like adjusting the Event Settings, you have the option to edit them within the Plugin or prepare them as a txt file. Prior to making any changes, ensure that you are linked to the correct ONE TIMING live-feed from the dropdown menu at the top right and that the session you wish to modify is currently live.

To prepare the txt file, begin with "Tyre=" followed by the short name and then the full name. Next, specify the initial offset - for example, 0.4 seconds for the Prime Tyre. Then, indicate the initial drop-off starting at lap 0, such as 0.04 per lap. The second stage is indicated by a vertical line, including the lap at which it begins and the drop-off in seconds (separated by a colon). The third stage, which is optional like the second stage, follows a similar format with the lap, colon, and drop-off specified.

Tyre=O|Option;0.0;0:0.15|10:0.3
Tyre=P|Prime;0.4;0:0.04|20:0.08|30:0.2

Simply drag and drop the prepared txt file into the Plugin to view the defined compounds in the UI. If desired, you can then add a color before pressing the Publish button.

Tip: Ensure that the tire designated as the "Default Start Tire" in the Event Settings aligns with a compound you have specified in the "Tire Settings".
