Fix Session Status: Error

Restore transcription when Session Status shows Error and one or more radio streams have stopped working.

Session Status: Error means ONE TRANSCRIPT lost its connection to one or more radio audio streams. Transcription stops on the affected channels until the connection is restored.

Step 1: Check Stream Health

Open Stream Health from the main menu. Check the summary cards at the top and identify the affected channel.

If you need help interpreting the summary cards or channel statuses, see Stream Health Overview and Monitor Stream Health During a Live Session.

Step 2: Fix a Failed channel

ⓘ ONE TRANSCRIPT automatically retries failed streams. If the problem is brief, the channel may recover on its own within a few minutes.

Check the radio source first

Confirm with your broadcast team that:

  • The radio feed is live for that driver or channel
  • The stream URL has not changed since the event started
  •  The broadcast provider is not experiencing an outage

If the source feed is unavailable, ONE TRANSCRIPT  cannot transcribe audio it does not receive.

Verify the stream URL

  1. Go to Settings → Drivers

  2. Find the affected driver

  3. Confirm the Stream URL matches the current feed from your broadcast provider

  4. If it doesn’t match, update the Stream URL and save your changes.

If you update the Stream URL, restart the session to apply the change. See Live Session Controls for instructions.

This restarts all stream processes for the session. Transcription may pause briefly while streams come back online.

⚠︎  Spectators cannot edit stream URLs. Share the affected driver name and Stream Health status with your Manager or TV Broadcaster.
