No Messages Appear After Selecting Keywords

Fix empty results after applying keyword filters.

What you're seeing

  • The message feed becomes empty after you select one or more keywords
  • Filters applied shows in green above the feed, but no messages appear

Common causes and fixes

Cause 1: No messages contain your selected keywords (most common)

The filter is working correctly, but no transcribed message in the session contains an exact whole-word match for your keyword.

For example: 

  • pit does not match "Pitting now"
  • pit lane only matches "pit lane", not "into the pit"
  • If your keyword is tyre, messages containing tire won't match unless both keywords are configured

Try this:

  • Use Free text search to see how the term appears in the transcript
  • Select keywords that match the transcript
  • If your team uses different spellings or terminology, ask a Manager to add additional keywords.

Cause 2: Driver filter is limiting results

 ⚠  Keyword filters work together with other filters.  If the wrong drivers are selected, Drivers filter may hide the matching messages.

Fix it:

  1. Open the Filter panel
  2. Go to Drivers
  3. Select All drivers (or remove individual selections)
  4. Check if messages appear
  5. Re-apply keywords and narrow by driver if needed
