System Requirements & Browser Compatibility

To use ONE TRANSCRIPT reliably for live and file-based transcription, ensure your system meets the requirements below. 

Operating Systems

ONE TRANSCRIPT runs on any operating system that supports a compatible browser.

The following minimum versions are recommended:

• Windows 10 or later
• macOS 12 (Monterey) or later
• Ubuntu 20.04+
• iOS 16 or later
• Android 12 or later

Supported Browsers

ONE TRANSCRIPT supports all major web browsers:

• Google Chrome
• Microsoft Edge
• Mozilla Firefox
• Safari

Network Requirements

Bandwidth

ONE TRANSCRIPT requires a stable internet connection for both file-based and live transcription.

• Minimum bandwidth: 2 Mbps (stable)

• Recommended latency: under 150 ms

Network Configuration Requirements

• Ensure HTTPS (port 443) and WSS (WebSocket Secure) connections are enabled

If your network uses a firewall or proxy, ensure the required connections are not blocked. On corporate or managed networks, ask your IT team to verify the configuration. If blocked, live transcription may be delayed.

Mobile

ONE TRANSCRIPT is accessed through a web browser and does not require a separate mobile app.

While the interface works in mobile browsers, some views and workflows are optimized for larger screens and may be limited on smaller devices.
