Create a Tag During a Match
Tags in MatchVision let you mark important moments during a match, such as goals, fouls, or tactical situations. They appear on the match timeline and help you find and review key moments later.
Tags are shared with other members of your user group, allowing your team to collaborate during live matches and post-match analysis.
Before you start:
- Tags apply to the match timeline, not to an individual camera feed
- Creating a tag automatically pauses the timeline
1) Go to the moment
- Scrub the timeline, or
- Tap −10 s / −1 s, or
- Stay at the current live moment to tag what is happening now
2) Add a tag
Click Add Tag in the bottom bar.
3) Choose a label & group
Choose one of the following options:
- Quick tag: Recommended on match day. Select a preset, such as Foul or Set piece.
- Custom tag: Enter your own label, such as Counter-attack left.
- Choose which group the tag belongs to (Optional). If you do not select a group, the tag is visible to all team members.
- Tap Save.
4) Check your tag
After you save the tag:
- A marker appears on the timeline
- The tag appears in the tag panel on the right
If you tagged a past moment during a live match, tap LIVE to return to the current moment.
Match-Day Tip (Live Matches)

Use Delete when the tag is incorrect, duplicated, or no longer needed.
- Open the match
- In the tag panel, find the tag
- Tap the 🗑️ Delete icon
