Recover Missing Audio and Transcriptions
Backfill missed transcriptions with a recording, or prevent gaps by extending the session before it ends.
Missing audio usually happens when:
- The session ended or was stopped
- A stream disconnected during the event
- The session timing didn’t match the event
- Audio was assigned to the wrong channel
- Your browser lost connection
Recover the missing audio
If you have a recording of the missing period (MP3, MP4, or WAV), you can recover it by uploading the recording.
Follow the full steps in Add Audio to Session.
Before you upload
Make sure you know:
- When the recording starts (in session track time)
- Which channel (driver) the audio belongs to
-
Uploads also work for Finished sessions.
What cannot be recovered:
Without a recording, ONE TRANSCRIPT cannot:
- Recreate audio after the session end time
- Recover audio from a stopped session
- Restore audio lost during a stream failure
- Fill historical gaps automatically
